    Trekking to Everest Base Camp is for many a lifetime experience and is not a very difficult task although the camp is located on the altitude of 5 550 metres over the sea level. The way leads through the most spectacular Himalayan terrains. Tourists are accompanied by Sherpa guides who know the region really well as they live there all their lives.
